With the rapid development of informatization and globalization.the trend of market demand is divering modern corporations are confronted with more and more drastic competitive.If an enterprise wants to be in an invincible position in the fierce competition.more attention should be paid to the different levels managers who are the important component of its human resource.Competence of different levels managers are the main criteria for the enterprise to distinct the outstanding leaders and the ordinary leaders.To scientifically construct and apply a model of enterprise leadership competence will provide a good reference to effectively recruit promote,train and evaluate the work performance of different levels managers.It has become the key index to organize lasting competition and affect the work performance.Studying the competence of different levels managers has vital practical significance on enhancing work performance.Combing and summarizing related articles both at home and abroad.according to the fact of the research.Firstly.this thesis put forward that the competence and its dimensions of different levels managers.Work performance is measured by different indicators from different levels:namely the executive is measured by financial and management indicators;middle manager is management indicators as well as task indicators;the first-line is task indicators and collaboration indicators.Then propound the relevant research hypothesis and theoretical model;Secondly.on the base of improving the existing scale.compile different levels managers' competence and job performance questionnaire.Using the SPSS 22.0 software to make empirical analysis and come to the conclusions.Finally.according to the conclusion and the reality.put forward advice to improve the different levels managers' competency of enterprise.and make prospects for future research.This paper makes the following conclusions by completing the above research work.First,the overall competency of managers at different levels of the enterprise influencing the work performance significantly and positively.the executive.the middle managers and the first-line managers' competence plays an important role in enhancing work performance.Second,the different levels managers' competency dimensions of enterprise has certain different influence degree on work performance.For the executive.personal charm has the significant impact on the job performance.followed by management quality and management skills;As for the middle managers.the degree of influence of competency dimensions on work performance from large to small is as follows :Self-management business management.team management For the first-line managers.the execution force dimension is the most significant for work performance.followed by interpersonal communication and self-growth need.Third,if the manager's competency is not matched with specific situations and tasks,which can also have a negative impact on job performance.The management skills of the executive and the team management of middle managers have no significant positive influence on management performance;Self-management of the middle manager as well as the first-line manager's self-growth need also have no significant positive influence on task performance.To improve the different levels managers of enterprise three suggestions are put forward: First of all improving the training system for enterprise managers through boosting the pertinence both training objects and training contents and broadening the training methods.The second,improving the effectiveness of different levels manager's recruitment and selection.whether it's internal selection or external recruitment.relevant work must be carried out based on the competency model already constructed;Thirdly.Provide good development platform for enterprise managers increasing capital investment and building internal learning organization.The research of this paper has some limitations.and put forward the prospect for future research and further expores it in the future.
