Competence in modern psychology, human resources management, education and other disciplines,is one of research hot spots. Competency model is a good distinction between business leaders and ordinary leaders of key criteria.successful business leadership competency model of the building help business executives and the use of recruitment, selection and performance evaluation. However, social and cultural background of China's senior manager of enterprise system competence is rare, especially for senior managers of state-owned enterprises are more characteristics of a lack of competence. This study is based on the reality to a group of two provincial power company senior management to investigate a sample of the senior corporate executives and personality and competence of the relationship between job performance.In this study, to clarify concepts, review relevant research at china and abroad based on the model put forward hypotheses, design the questionnaire, senior manager of enterprise competence and work performance of a preliminary attempt. In this study, a total of a provincial power companies in the Group 212 senior managers participated in a formal survey, using SPSS statistical analysis software on the sample data validity, reliability and factor analysis of personality traits business executives Two aspects of (a sense of responsibility, Agreeableness) and competency (six leadership skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills, professional skills, planning ability, problem solving) relationships, and competency and job performance. Empirical analysis: business senior management responsibility and the pleasant nature of their competence has significant influence; Competence on job performance also has a significant positive correlation.In the daily management of business practice, corporate executives, such as a high degree of responsibility and good character, can effectively increase their competence as leaders, so as to enhance their team building and work performance. Value of this study is to prompt business executives in a targeted manner to strengthen their sense of mission work and interpersonal training, provide leadership effectiveness and organizational performance.
