| Anxi county is one of the most representative tea producing areas in Fujian province,and it is also the birthplace of Oolong tea and the famous tea Tieguanyin,which makes the tea industry the most important pillar industry in Anxi county.But in recent years,Anxi tea industry is faced with the need of transformation and upgrade.Single tea sales can no longer support the benign development of the whole industrial chain.The tea farmers are unable to obtain better economic benefits because of their own restrictions on both natural risk and market risk,and the local economic development mode supported by the tea industry has fallen into a bottleneck.Therefore,the development of new tourism formats and the transformation and upgrading of tea farmers have become the trend of the times.The establishment of the " Cha Xiang Ren Jia" in Anxi is also developed in this context.The new residence of "Cha Xiang Ren Jia"represents a new developmental model of "tourism + tea production +special hostels + cultural experience",which not only stimulates the development of tourism,but also promotes the participation of local tea farmers.Rural tourism has changed the traditional way of livelihood for tea farmers to grow tea and promoted the integration and development of the primary,secondary and tertiary industries.Based on the above background,this paper takes tea farmers as the research object,and takes the sustainable livelihoods theory,the participatory development theory and the social exchange theory as theoretical basis.First of all,the author describes and analyzes the capital situation of the tea households.Secondly,the author constructs the theoretical analysis framework of tea farmers' participation behavior,and uses date of 134 research objects to describe the statistical analysis.Thirdly,based on the analysis framework,Thirdly,based on the analysis framework,the index system is constructed,and the Binary Logistic regression models is used to identify the main factors affecting the participation of tea farmers in rural tourism.Finally,the author puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions according to the above conclusions.The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)The business households of“Cha Xiang Ren Jia " are all elites,having a higher cultural quality and tea-making experience,and have a certain degree of popularity and influence in the local area,which makes them far distinct from the local farmers.(2)Driven by the business households of“Cha Xiang Ren Jia ",some tea farmers change their original livelihoods which is based on their own attributes,the author divides the tea farmers into tourism-oriented farmers,balanced farmers,migrant workers and pure farmers according to the current way of living.Through descriptive analysis,the 4 types of tea farmers have significant differences in family basic situation,the scale tea gardens,fixed assets and family collection structure characteristics.(3)The analysis of the Binary Logistic regression shows that the livelihood capital of tea farmers will have different effects on their participation behavior.Human capital,natural capital and social capital have greater impact on farmers' choice of participation,physical capital and financial capital have relative less impact.The four factors,including the degree of education,the area of the tea garden,the social connectivity and the awareness of the tourism policy,are the key factors affecting the farmers' choice to participate in rural tourism.(4)Based on the above empirical analysis,the research conclusions are summarized and the countermeasures and suggestions are put forward from six aspects,including playing the leading role of the government,improving the training mechanism,increasing the publicity,establishing the mechanism of group cooperation,providing financial support and fully exerting regional advantages.This study not only enriches the existing theories,but also provides a great referential value for the sustainable development of rural tourism. |
