With shared service centers established within more than 85% of international enterprises throughout the world,the concept of Share Service Management has been increasingly embedded in various core business units of domestic and foreign enterprises.Besides that,its simplified operation mode and resulting enormous economic benefits also attract the attentions from top management of global enterprises.Therefore,how to enhance the management level and efficiency of shared services has become a research topic of great realistic significance.Taking Cummins Shared Service Center as the research subject,this thesis summarizes the shared service management framework suited to Cummins combined with the analysis of Human Resource service,Information Technology service and Accounting service,as well as the study of benchmarking service operation modes.The thesis emphasizes on establishing Cummins service management framework which differs from other traditional service management modes through optimizing the service supply chain and establishing the shared service center.How to build and implement the talent strategy,integrate Cummins information platform through SaaS,and establish service-oriented organization chart are also focuses of this article.In addition,this thesis also discusses about how to work out key performance indicators of shared service and stay competitive in terms of service process development and optimization.Shared Service is an innovative method aiming at achieving standardization and intensification of public service process within the organization through effective integration among methods,resources and processes of Human Resource and Information Technology.Establishing shared service center is the requirement for human capital optimization strategy,accounting function transformation strategy and information sharing strategy.Using related theories of shared services and combining the actual operation demands,this paper analyzes practical problems appeared during the operation process of Cummins Shared Service Center.And on this basis,this thesis puts forward the improvement plan of the shared service processes to further promote the efficient coordination between the shared service platform and core businesses of enterprises,so as to achieve the target of improving the operation capacity of the enterprise's overall service supply chain.
