Research On The Potential Of China's Trade Cooperation With Countries Along "The Belt And Road"

This article studies the potential of trade cooperation between China and countries along the “the Belt and Road” from the perspective of trade potential.With the deepening of economic globalization and regional economic integration,the world economy is rapidly changing.In the "the Belt and Road" initiative,China's foreign trade has ushered in new opportunities and also faces enormous challenges.Analyzing the trade potential of China and countries along the “the Belt and Road” has important practical significance for putting forward substantive proposals for future trade cooperation with countries along the route.On the basis of combing the relevant theories of trade cooperation potential,this paper firstly applies an induction-summing method to systematically analyze the close relationship between the trade status of China and the countries along the country,and then uses this as a basis to use the trade gravitation model tool for China.The trading data of trading partner countries for the past nine years was subjected to a regression analysis of fixed-effect coefficient models,and regression parameters were used to determine the factors affecting China's trade cooperation with these countries: economic size factor,demand level factor,labor resource factor,distance cost factor,and economic growth factor.The study found that the economic scale factor,labor resource factor,distance cost factor,and economic growth factor played a positive role in the trade cooperation potential between China and the countries along the route;at the same time,the data obtained was compared with actual trade data,and the analysis of the potential of trade cooperation between China and the countries along the “the Belt and Road” concluded that the trade potential of China and the 31 countries along the route is at a level to be developed,and the trade potential of the 26 countries along the line is at a normal level;finally,according to the estimation results made by the trade gravity equation,we propose what measures and suggestions for strengthening China's trade cooperation with countries along the “the Belt and Road” approach,increasing overall economic strength,changing resource utilization ideas,improving infrastructure construction,and increasing the added value of Chinese exports.These aspects have a very important role to play in improving the potential for trade cooperation between China and the areas of trade potential to be developed.
