Since reform and opening up,China's catering industry has made great development,however,in recent years,food safety incidents,Especially in catering industry,happen frequently in the country,which reveals that food safety has gotton into both a period of high-incidence and a period of conflicts.As a seaside tropical city,Sanya's catering industry is uneven.There are many high-grade hotels and the rural catering industry with food safety problems.Therefore,it is necessary and feasible to study and solve the problems of the food safety supervision mode in the catering industry.Since the institutional reform in 2013,some achievements of food safety have been made in Sanya Municipal Food And Drug Administration by improving supervision mode,strengthening law enforcement and building demonstration projects.But still there is a great gap between the expectation of the public.How to improve the effectiveness of supervision mode has become an urgent problem to be solved.According to the problems of food safety supervision mode,this paper makes use of public governance theory,analyzes the the problems of food safety supervision mode of catering industry in Sanya City,and summarizes the good experience of catering industry of developed countries and regions.And comes up with 3 measures to improve the supervision mode of catering industry in Sanya City,which includes the following:improvement of food safety supervision mode;increasing the technical competence of food safety;establishment of a multi-party participation in government.
