It can be seen that the catering industry has become an important pillar in the tertiary industry of China.What’s more,its important role in the aspects of driving economic development and personnel employment cannot be ignored.However,the food safety issues emerging in catering services have also attracted much attention over the years.Therefore,top priority of the current supervision work lies in how to improve the food safety supervision level of catering service units,ensure the safety of catering food,and protect the health of the masses.In this thesis,the Xinjiang A City is taken as a research sample to carry out the investigation on the current status of food safety supervision in catering services.It is learned that there are 3437 catering service units of various types in city a of Xinjiang,with small-scale catering dominating and 58 supervisors.Based on this,it is learned that the food safety supervision agency of Xinjiang A City has undergone several reforms from 2009 to the present.At present,it has basically formed a situation of comprehensive administrative law enforcement in market,agricultural and cultural supervision,which has set up a relatively complete city-level and regiment-level supervision network.The main methods for the implementation of the food safety supervision of catering services include administrative licensing,daily supervision,risk level assessment,administrative punishment,supervision and sampling test.In the meantime,the main problems in the food safety supervision of catering services in the Xinjiang A City are sorted out,At the market main body level: operators(management)in food safety responsibility consciousness is weak,management and hardware configuration are low,the machining operation is not standard,food traceability to raw materials is hard,nonstandard use of food additives.At the regulatory level:legal system is imperfect,regulators need to promote professional skill,lack of effective regulatory means,the range of regulation exists blind area,emergency disposal system is not sound.At the social level: the public has not formed good dining habits and food safety supervision is absent.Besides,the deep analysis on the reasons for these problems is carried out in this thesis.The corresponding regulatory suggestions are proposed by sorting out domestic and foreign research literature,and drawing on relevant regulatory experience,such as the perfection of the legal and regulatory system,the improvement of the regulatory mechanism,the change of ideas,the promotion of service law enforcement,the enhancement of team building,improve the comprehensive quality of personnel,the strength of publicity and training,improve hardware conditions,the creation of an atmosphere of social co-governance and so on.
