| With the development of economic geography and the deepening of economic globalization, the relations between regions are becoming more and more closely. Each region is no longer a relatively independent economic unit, and there is a certain correlation between the level of regional innovation output. Therefore,Studying the spatial correlation of regional innovation output in Shandong will help us better grasp the overall development of regional output, which will enhance the level of regional innovation output in Shandong and promote the development of regional innovation. This paper takes the application of invention patents of 17 prefecture level cities in Shandong Province during 2007-2016 years as panel data, and takes the means of vector autoregressive model to measure the spatial correlation of regional innovation output and constructed the spatial association network of regional innovation output. Then it analyzes the spatial correlation network characteristics of regional innovation output in Shandong province with the help of network analysis. The study finds that:(1)the spatial association of regional innovation output in Shandong is widespread. There are 99 spatial associations, and there is at least one relationship between each prefecture level city.(2)The spatial correlation of regional innovation output in Shandong shows obvious regional differences, whether spillover or beneficial relationship.Among them, there are more related relations in the central economic zone than the eastern economic belt and the western economic belt, which are mainly distributed in Jinan City,Linyi city and Zibo city. But the central potential of the whole spatial network is not high, and the regional cooperation of innovative output needs to be strengthened.(3)The overall density of the spatial correlation network of regional innovation output in Shandong province is 0.364,the spatial correlation of regional innovation output is low and the correlation is 1.It shows that the spatial association of regional innovation output has a significant effect. |
