Based on the core data of each million-person invention patent ownership in 31 provinces in China(excluding Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan),the paper uses four factors of GDP per capita,R&D personnel full-time equivalent,Internet penetration rate and distance between provinces as auxiliary analysis data to obtain the spatial correlation network diagram of provincial innovation output through the above method,then through the network centrality,network relevance,network density and block model,the network characteristics of the spatial connection of the innovation output in 31 provinces of China are characterized and analyzed by the characteristics of individual network and the overall network features.The hypothesis test is carried out with the analysis of QAP correlation and QAP regression,and the main factors and related factors affecting the spatial correlation of regional innovation output are found out,and the influence mechanism and influence degree are excavated.The study found that:(1)In terms of time change,China’s provincial innovation output in 2006-2017 is dynamic development.During the 12 years from 2006 to 2017,the total amount of innovation output in China’s provinces has increased,and China’s provincial innovation output has a general spatial spillover relationship and has agglomeration or diffusion effect,which shows spatial relevance.(2)In the spatial evolution,the spatial correlation of innovation output in China’s province presents a complex spatial relational network relationship,and the correlation between provincial domains is good and increasing.Through block model analysis,the spatial correlation of provincial innovation output in China can be divided into four sectors,namely "net overflow plate" which is dominated by 6 provinces,such as Beijing,Tianjin,Jiangsu,Shanghai and Zhejiang;"broker plate",which is dominated by 8 provincial domains,including Anhui,Fujian,Jiangxi,Hubei,Hunan and Chongqing;plate III,represented by three northeastern provinces,and plate IV,which is dominated by underdeveloped areas in the midwest.(3)Geographical factors,the level of provincial economic development,number of R&D personnel,Internet penetration and R&D investment are all relevant factors and main factors affecting the innovation output of China province.Geographical factors have a significant positive effect on the spatial correlation of provincial innovation output,and the difference of provincial economic development level,number of R&D personnel,internet penetration rate and R&D investment has an inhibitory effect on the spatial correlation of innovation output in provincial area.However,foreign trade is only a related factor affecting the spatial correlation of provincial innovation output in China,but it can not have a significant impact.And on the basis of the research results,the following policy recommendations are proposed: firstly,consolidate the concept of "based on the whole,coordinated development",highlight the concept of provincial linkage development.The second is to promote the economic development of underdeveloped areas and narrow the differences in provincial economies.Thirdly,eliminate administrative barriers and implement system protection.Four is to improve the environment of the internet development and improve internet penetration.
