Abstract/Summary:
Tourism is a strategic pillar industry of China’s national economy,and has an important role in promoting the development of the national economy.Shandong Province,as a major tourism province in China,has abundant tourism resources,long history and culture,and the scale of tourism development ranks among the top in China.In recent years,under the combined effect of government intervention and market regulation,the tourism industry has continued to gain high quality development in Shandong Province.However,there are still significant differences in tourism resource endowment,local economic development and basic service facilities among cities,which have resulted in the uncoordinated regional development and unbalanced tourism supply in particular.Therefore,for this purpose,a systematic study on the characteristics and influencing factors of the evolution of the spatially linked network structure of tourism economy in Shandong Province is presented,and the corresponding optimization measures are proposed to provide theoretical support for promoting the high-quality development of tourism economy in Shandong Province in the new era.Taking Shandong Province as a case study,this thesis analyzes the evolution characteristics of the spatial correlation network structure of tourism economy in Shandong Province Based on the modified gravity model and social network analysis method,identifies the influencing factors by QAP analysis method,and finally puts forward the Optimization Countermeasures of the spatial correlation network structure of tourism economy in Shandong Province.The core conclusions are as follows:(1)The spatial association network structure of tourism economy in Shandong Province from 2010-2019 shows an evolutionary trend from loose to concentrated,simple to complex,imbalanced to balanced,and fragile to robust during the study period.Specifically,the total association strength and network density grow year by year,while the network efficiency and network hierarchy also gradually decline,and the overall spatial association network structure characteristics are more typical.(2)The individual network characteristics show that the radiation and agglomeration effects of the spatial association network of tourism economy in Shandong Province have obvious non-equilibrium characteristics.Qingdao and Jinan have higher centrality,which show strong intermediary,spillover and benefit effects and in the core of the network.While the centrality of cities such as Heze and Binzhou are at a lower level and located at the end of the association network.Although the centrality among the node cities have been substantially increased,but the difference of point degree centrality and near centrality is becoming more and more prominent,and the spatial association structure of tourism economy still needs to be further strengthened.(3)Local network characteristics analysis shows that the core-edge distribution of Shandong Province tourism economic spatial association network structure is more typical,and the level gap between core and edge areas is narrowing,and the tourism economic association between node cities within and between regions is getting stronger and stronger.Jinan City is always the absolute core area,and has a strong radiation effect on other node cities.While Weihai,Dezhou,Liaocheng and Heze are always absolute peripheral areas,with less tourism economic linkages with other node cities.In addition,the spatial association state of the cohesive subgroup gradually develops from disorder to agglomeration,which can take advantage of the existing node city "group" to further promote the integration of tourism economy within the cohesive subgroup,thus promoting the integration of tourism economy in the province.(4)The results of QAP analysis show that the four factors of economic development level,tourism resource endowment,service facility level and tourism transportation cost all have significant influence on the spatial association network structure of tourism economy in Shandong Province.Among them,the level of economic development,tourism resource endowment and service facility level have a facilitating effect on the upgrading and optimization of tourism economic spatial linkage network structure,while tourism transportation cost has a certain inhibiting effect on the development of tourism economic linkage network structure.In Shandong Province,the spatial linkage of tourism economy is increasing,the spatial linkage network structure of tourism economy is getting stronger,and the tourism economy has a high quality development trend.However,there are still several problems such as uneven development of the spatial linkage network structure of tourism economy,and the difference between point degree centrality and near centrality are getting more prominent.Based on the characteristics of tourism economy spatially linked network structure and the existing problems,the optimization strategizes are proposed as follows:(1)Combining with the current situation of tourism economy development in Shandong Province,the spatial development mode of tourism economy is reconstructed,and the spatially linked integrated development mode of tourism economy is proposed,and the three development modes of growth pole,axis and area are analyzed respectively,and a reasonable development route is formulated.(2)Based on high quality tourism resources,from the perspective of tourists’ demand,integrate tourism resources and build Shandong Province into a comprehensive tourism area with landscape sightseeing tour,traditional culture tourism,marine leisure tourism,red tourism,recreation tourism and style town experience as the main body.(3)Optimize tourism infrastructure,and start from two aspects: Improving transportation network system and enhancing tourism service quality.(4)Joint marketing and brand sharing to strengthen the brand image.Use new media to carry out "joint promotion and binding marketing",promote brand marketing communication and improve the brand image of "hospitable Shandong".
