Border region stands for a window that represents the achievements that China has accomplished in the reform and opening-up policies and notable effects can be seen in the border region since the implementation of development and opening-up policies of China's border region.Since the Belt and Road policy,southwest border region of China that stands for a joint for international cooperation,became a new peak for China's new peak for opening-up when there comes the birth of Cross-border Tourism Cooperation Zone(CTCZ).The city of Dongxing is the unique port city that shares land and sea border connecting China and ASEAN countries and is also a National Key Development&Openning-up Pilot Zone,Border Tourism Pilot Zone and initialized the development of CTCZ in 2010,which is of great significance.The study takes Dongxing-Mong Cai CTCZ as a case to analyze the impact that development&opening-up policies of border region effect on Dongxing and upon which some advice is proposed to further improve the development,harmony and steady of border region.The study works on 1)the introduction of status and process of the thesis of border region of China and Guangxi;2)the status of economic and social performance of Dongxing,and the analysis of defects in the process of developing CTCZ;3)the research of approaches to improve the development of CTCZ through field research and perspective of border people,tourism worker and tourists.The study considers that development&opening-up policies of border region works positively on CTCZ and border region,nevertheless if better and faster development is to be reached,methods should be taken from the perspective of customs policies,financial policies,tourism service capacity and market supervision for a better structure of development&opening-up.
