Jean Baudrillard who is the French sociologist describes the body as "the most beautiful consumer product" in his book Consumer Society.With the change of people's consumption concept and the influence of visual turning,the body,as the main body of visual aesthetics,is materialized as a symbol by the public under the envelope of consumerism.Under the control of commercial cultural capital,people's viewing behavior has evolved from "seeing women" to "seeing men",and the attention to the male body has gradually increased or even replaced the former female body's dominant position in the visual culture.At present,the shaping of the male body to meet the needs of the audience has become a unique cultural landscape in the visual carnival,and thus the diversification of body aesthetics has emerged.Based on this,this article puts the domestic youth idol drama in the context of consumer culture,and takes male characters in the drama as the research object to discuss the male body aesthetic problems in the drama.By analyzing the appearance of the male body in the domestic youth idol drama,the situation of the male body "being watched" and the viewing changes in the drama,the deficiencies of the domestic youth idol drama in shaping the male body image are explored to explore the visual revelry The influence of alienation of middle body on the public's aesthetic conception.
