With the rapid development of China's economy, the growth rate of China's cosmetics market is much higher than the average growth rate of the national economy, China has become the world's largest integrated market. Meanwhile, advancing with the times and the pace of social life, male cosmetics market has grown rapidly, along with male cosmetics ads debut one after another, due to the consumer society leading by mass media.Jean Baudrilltard reveals the nature of consumer society, which is not simply a function of material consumption, but cultural and psychological significant. Baudrilltard views body as "the most beautiful goods", putting forward physical culture from consumption. Baudrilltard sensitively analyses physical culture of consumer society, which push commercialization of the body to the peak. At present, the mass media and consumerism work together to put the male body into the consumer system, creating new meaning to market constantly.In order to guide and stimulate consumption, mass media make use of attractive and inflammatory propaganda, suppressing and excluding the old ways and concept of consumption, so that people accept new consumption patterns and lifestyles with satisfaction and consumer ideology was able to build.Faced with the problems of losing principal part gradually, the dissemination of contents and globalizing cultural imperialism, it is important to obtain more rights for the public as well as free expression space.
