The Collation And Study Of Dunhuang Manuscripts Shilin And Shisen

The Dunhuang manuscripts Shilin and Shisen are the first type of Leishu with moral ethics and cultural knowledge as the main contents,which play an important role in the development history of Leishu,especially the category of leilin.On the basis of previous research,this paper is divided into two parts,and comprehensively organizes and studies Shilin and Shisen.The introduction in the Part one describes the reason for the topic selection and research significance,and reviews the relevant research history of Wang Sanqing,Zhang Yongquan,Zhang Wenju and other scholarsons on the volume of P.4052,P.2621 and S.5776,and sorts out the research situation of Shilin and Shisen in detail.Chapter one analyzes and discusses the content and nature of Shilin and Shisen,clarifies the relationship between Shilin and Shisen,and improves the cognition of Shilin and Shisen through the investigation of the title and many miscellaneous writings.The scribe of Shisen may be a scholar of Jingtu temple from Zhai family in Dunhuang,who is conscious in the process of reading and learning The new work,which was made by copying various books,reflects the teaching situation of Dunhuang temple in the early period of Cao's Guiyijun.Chapter two is about the research on the citations of Shilin and Shisen.It cited 54 books in the Canon,History and Philosophy.The quotations from the Canon category are not limited to the Jiujing,but the number is not large.There are 42 quotations from the History category,with the largest proportion,mainly including Gaoshizhuan,Lienvzhuan,Xiaozizhuan,Chuguoxianxianzhuan and other historical books,but there are also historical books such as Per-four-history,Dongguanhanji,Zhanguoce,Lvshichunqiu,and a small number of geographical books,such as Kuaijilu,Jinyangchunqiuji and many more.The Philosophy category cited books are Zengguangleilin,Yiwenleiju,Shuoyuan,Shishuo and so on.The main contents of Shilin and Shisen are the stories of the sages,and the examples of the two books are not the usual mode of citing books.They mostly abridge,abbreviate and even delete the cited documents excessively.The thoughts of Shilin and Shisen are mostly positive,and the contents are mostly moral education,loyalty,filial piety,benevolence and righteousness.Chapter three compares the remaining contents of Shilin and Shisen with Leilin,Yudui and Yingjin.It explains the compiling style of Shilin and Shisen.The style of the two books is undoubtedly Leishi Leishu,but it has its own unique characteristics,which is closely related to the style of leilin.It can be called "leilin" as a category book.The cheap and thrifty,filial piety,honest,chastity,and gratitude articles of Shisen are also found in Yudui,but the number of characters and the content of the story are inconsistent.Part two is to make more accurate recording and proofreading on the content of the paper and to further explore the name,nature and author based on previous studies.
