| In this article,since the reform and opening up,the news media has reported on the scientific and technological figures of the Lanzhou Branch Chinese Academy of Sciences as the research object.It collected 584 personal stories from 1981 to 2018,conducted a full sample quantitative study using the content analysis method,and analyzed the sources of these reports.Report genre,report length,report topic,character type,character image,presentation spirit,etc.The thesis also summarizes the basic characteristics of scientific and technological personage reports in combination with specific report cases.Based on this,the thesis uses text analysis to analyze the characteristics of scientific and technological figures in different eras.The research found that news media reports on scientific and technological figures are mainly academic-level figures such as academicians,well-known researchers,and experts,focusing on their scientific research achievements,advanced deeds,and life experiences,and shaping the image of scientific and technological figures with different characteristics of the times.Highlighting their tenacity,selfless dedication,continuous innovation,patriotism and party spirit.The thesis holds that,the images of scientific and technological figures in the media are more objective and real,but there are also problems such as less attention to female scientific and technological figures and narrow reporting horizons.Therefore,future scientific and technological character reports can be improved from the perspective of character image formation and scientific communication,in terms of expanding multiple images,broadening the horizon of reporting,focusing on eventual reports,and understanding and strengthening the scientific communication function of scientific and technological character reports,so as to better give full play to the scientific communication effect reported by scientific and technological figures. |
