An overview of the situation shows that for our country,how to better promote Chinese culture to the outside world,is an inherent requirement for the great rejuvenation and influence of the Chinese nation.As an important means of spreading Chinese culture and shaping China's international image,external publicity journals not only assume the mission of "explaining China to the world",but also assume the responsibility of eliminating contradictions,conflicts and other core issues.They are the world's understanding of China to truly integrate into the era of globalization and spread China's voice.From the perspective of cross-cultural communication,this paper selects "people's China",an external publicity journal,as the research object,and analyzes and it from development status,communication content and national image polishing.The paper includes five parts: Chapter 1 is exordium which introduce the background and significance,a summary of the literature,the research method and its creative points.In the summary of the literature sorts out achievements in researches about "people's China" and cross-cultural communication journals.Chapter 2 focuses on the development of "people's China" and the overall development status of external publicity journals,and discusses the possibility of “people's China” to realize cross-cultural communication and the improvement of media's speaking right in Japan from the perspective of the cultural differences between China and Japan and the ecology domestic in Japan.Chapter 3 and chapter 4 are based on the analysis of "people's China" from the perspective of cultural adaptation and national image in the context of cross-cultural communication.Chapter 3 analyzes how "people's China" grasps the different modes in thinking between China and Japan by applying the theory of cross-cultural adaptation,and follows the principle of "three approaches" in terms of topic and language,so as to establish the integrity of the cognition and relationship of cross-cultural adaptation.Chapter 4 discusses "people's China" how to building its national identity in face of the resistance from foreign environment in the process of cross-cultural communication,and how to present the positive and open image of "emerging" China in Japanese audiences.In the last chapter,the paper tentatively put forward the future development direction of cross-cultural communication of "people's China".
