In this paper, the author reviewed the situation of USA image and the remaining cross-cultural communication questions of Bush Administration, and analyzed how Obama Administration tried to get rid of the shadow left by his predecessor, by applying multiple communication platforms, methods and agenda-setting in the aim of making the international society re-cognize "USA Story". Also related effects and strategies were included. During the later part of the paper, the author drew some points that China might get benefits from Obama Administrations useful cross-communication strategies. The author argued that as a national strategy, China has just started to research the subject of national image. In order to adjust well to the outside environment, China needs to construct national image comprehensively from aspects like conception, system and operation.
