The Cross-Cultural Comparison Of Sports Report Of China And The United States

Research object and main information: in the international society, China and the United States often contact with each other, and there are more and more collision between culture of the two countries. The two kinds of culture need to analysis and compare at a specific stratification plane, and construct the space of interaction between the two countries'news so as to avoid the collision and misunderstanding between the culture. It can also promote the understanding and the mutual confidence. Because the sports report is different from politic and economic report, it's easy to analysis objectively, so this article chooses the sports report of China and the United States to analysis cross cultural comparison. The article contains three parts: the cultural context, the social context, the information dynamics and national image between the two countries'sports report. In the first part, the article elaborates the dissemination way, the news literary style orientation and the news culture values between the two countries'sports report. In the second part, the article elaborates the social lamination between the two countries'sports report. In the third part, the article elaborates the information dynamics, the national image in China's sports report, the national image in the United States'sports report.Research method: this project mainly uses the methods of interviewing experts in order to choose the topical sports report, searching the information, the method of comparing to analysis the cultural differences between the two countries'sports report and so on.Results: after comparing the cross culture of the China and the United States'sports report, unfolds how these differences constructs and how these differences manifests.Analyze: the sports report of China emphasizes implicit, while the sports report of the United States is very frank. The sports report of China reflects the"hard news"characteristic and in the United States mainly unfolds"soft news"characteristic. The sports repot of China pays attention to the collectivism values, while in the United States pays attention to the individualism values. The sports report of China is developing in these years and the experience is not enough, but the situation in the United States is just opposite. The information of the sports report of China is less than in the United States'. The more important thing is that the China has no way to construct the national image but the United States has a lot of methods to construct the national image.
