This article attempts take the central daily and xinhua daily two reports,both party newspaper in the democratic constitutional government movement as the research object,comprehensive Anti-Japanese War and the time background of democratic constitutional government movement,by comparing the two party newspaper in the democratic constitutional government movement related text rendering two quote for the specific position of democratic constitutional government movement,find two newspaper reported on democratic constitutional government movement with different deep motivation.The paper is divided into five chapters: the first chapter lays out the history of the democratic constitutional movement,so that the report content of the following chapters plays the purpose of analyzing and connecting with the history.The second and third chapters respectively present the positions and attitudes of the two newspapers towards the relevant reports of the democratic constitutional movement,and connect the issues of constitutionalism,democracy and freedom logically.The fourth chapter,on the basis of the first two chapters,compares the two newspapers' reporting positions on the democratic constitutional movement,which is the core of this paper.The fifth chapter will discuss the reasons behind the differences between the two newspapers' reporting positions from the perspective of party power and the relevant paradigms in the field of news and communication.After combing and comparing the reports of the central daily and xinhua daily on the democratic constitutional movement,we believe that the reports of the two newspapers on the democratic constitutional movement show the same phenomenon.Specifically,both newspapers actively reported on constitutional issues and supported the establishment of constitutionalism,especially the study of constitutional legislation and the convening of the national assembly.At the same time,both newspapers agreed that China should join the world democratic trend,promote the construction of democratic politics in China,and show the position that freedom in wartime should be restrained.Due to the differences of representative parties,the two reports still show differences in the following five aspects: first,the difference of whether the constitutional issue is a problem or whether the process continues to advance;Secondly,there are different reports on the position of holding the national assembly,especially the method of electing deputies.Third,although the two newspapers are concerned about the progress of the construction of Chinese democratic politics,it can be seen that they have different understandings of the realization degree of Chinese democratic politics.Fourth,the construction measures of democratic politics recommended in the report are different;Finally,there is a difference in their advocacy of the freedom that people should pursue.There is a reason for everything.The reason that makes the two newspapers have the same position in reporting lies in the relevant agenda setting and the reporting purpose of each newspaper.At the same time,with Marx's theory of party newspaper as the research support,the reasons for the difference in the reporting positions of the two newspapers are the people and attitudes of the parties represented by the two newspapers towards the people,as well as the differences between the political thoughts and ideas of the kuomintang and the communist parties.
