| Corruption not only damage the image of the Party, government and nation, but also intensify the social contradiction, more seriously, it hurts the development of the society. Anti-corruption make great progress after the 18th National Congress of Communist Party of China and the number of works about anti-corruption is soaring. People’s Daily, a mainstream media in China, offered us authoritative reports which were called flag and voice of the people. It was just right to the point and has increased the ideological and ethical standards. Thus doing research on anti-corruption news comments which were published by People’s Daily supplies certain practice guidance to writings on anti-corruption afterwards.At present, there is lots of research on news comment in People’s Daily; we can see them on books, on theses and periodicals. But there is no news comment about anti-corruption. Based on the present situation, this paper makes a comprehensive research on anti-corruption, which can provide certain theoretical meaning and realistic meaning.This paper can be divided into four parts. At first, the article analyzes the new changes of news comments about anti-corruption in People’s Daily. It is accounted for three aspects:the number, the layout and the theme. Second, discuss the reason of change. The Party and government strengthen their functions on anti-corruption; Anti-corruption is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and the changes on the role and functions of media. Thirdly, the thesis carried out a analysis on the differences in writing characteristics between People’s Daily and other party newspaper, then summarize distinguishing features of People’s Daily. Last but not least, summing up the shortage of People’s Daily, and then provides some counter measures. |
