Views Upon The Development Of China’s News Based On The Methods Of Selecting Winning Works In China News Awards

The Chinese News Awards, the best of its kind in China, has become the wind vane of Chinese News development. The methods of selecting prize winners, as an organic part of the Chinese News Awards, have a regulating and leading role in the competition activities. So with first-hand materials, this paper begins with the methods of selecting winners in Chinese News Awards by content analysis and historical comparison,and sums up systematically the changes of the competition in the decade from 2005 to 2015 years, trying to summarize the influence and guidance of the Chinese News Awards on the development of Chinese News.Studies have found that in the past 10 years, the purpose, the range, the criteria of the competition, and the selection of the committee have gone through a series of changes, which reflects that the journalism in China, under the premise of adhering to the principles of the Party spirit, has taken every step to improve the criteria of journalistic professionalism, that the Chinese Communist Party attaches great importance to the guiding function of public opinion, the construction of journalistic professional ethics, and the importance of building the national image. This paper says that along with the country’s reform and innovation, the competition of Chinese News Awards has promoted the healthy development of the news industry, and enhanced the authority, credibility and influence of Chinese News Awards.In order to make the competition of Chinese News Awards more scientific, this paper puts forward the idea of establishing a new award,the "Innovation Award" of Chinese News Awards, and makes it clear that this award will increase the intensity of punishment, enhance the supervision, the network open preliminary, so that the selection mechanism of the competition will be perfected. Furthermore,this paper also analyzes the relations between the change of the Chinese News Awards and Chinese politics, economy, and culture and so on.Since 2005, Chinese news has been moving forward steadily. So this paper,from the viewpoint of the changes of the Chinese News Awards, explores the development rules of Chinese News, which can not be seen in the previous research.
