Peisu Xia And The Establishment And Development Of Chinese Computer Science

Peisu Xia,academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,is one of the founders of Chinese computer science and has made important contributions to the establishment and development of Chinese computer science.As the first generation of computer science researchers in China,she has always adhered to independent innovation,designed a series of computers with better performance than foreign computers,and made immortal contributions in narrowing the gap between China and the world's computer science.She has trained a large number of computer science talents for China and pushed China's computer science into the forefront of the world.This paper discusses Xia's three aspects: the start-up of Chinese computer science,the cultivation of talents and achievements,shows the important aspects of the establishment and development of Chinese computer science.The main contents of this paper are as follows:In the first chapter,Xia's contributions to the establishment of Chinese computer science are studied,and it shows the historical process of the establishment of computer science in China.First,by combing the historical evolution of computer science at home and abroad,the background of the founding of Chinese computer science is analyzed.Furthermore,by analyzing the work done by Xia from the computer scientific research team to the computer scientific research community,the course of the establishment of China's computer scientific research institutions is shown.Finally,by analyzing the work done by Xia in the computer major of the University of Science and Technology of China,the development process of China's computer science higher education is shown.In the second chapter,Xia's talent cultivation practice,achievements and ideas is studied,and it shows the process of the growth of China's computer research team.First,through the analysis of the curriculum construction,teacher training and scientific research achievements of Xia in the earliest computer training class in China,the achievements of the first batch ofcomputer science talents independently trained in China are studied.Furthermore,by analyzing the outstanding scientific research echelon formed by Xia at the Institute of Computing Technology Chinese Academy of Sciences,it demonstrates the talent base it has laid in promoting the continuous development of China's computer science.Finally,through the analysis of Xia's talent training concept,the factors that have achieved results are analyzed.In the third chapter,Xia's achievements in promoting China's computer science research is studied,and it shows the development of China's computer science.Firstly,through the analysis of Xia's research achievements in narrowing the gap between domestic and foreign computer science and achieving the world's advanced level,Xia's achievements in adhering to independent innovation are investigated.Secondly,by investigating Xia's efforts in promoting the development of high-performance computers,the development history of China's high-performance computers is shown.Finally,through the systematic analysis of the academic works edited and the academic journals established by Xia,the development process of China's computer science academic exchanges is shown.Through the above three aspects of research,the outline of the establishment and development of computer science in China is preliminarily described,which can be used as a reference for future generations to study the history of computer science.
