The data converter is a key component of the conversion interface between the digital semaphore and analog semaphore,and the high-speed and high-precision data converter test platform has become an important application device.Automated testing is of great significance for the development of data converters.In this paper,the data converter test platform is researched.Based on the existing ARM-FPGA data converter test platform,the data converter test platform scheme based on MSP430 control system is proposed,which reduces the system power consumption and solves the problem caused by the original control system during the test.The seamless connection with the original platform architecture is realized on the system architecture,which reduces the workload of designing and debugging the control system.Then,the paper completed the hardware design of the MSP430 control system and established the communication between the control system and the high-speed data processing system and the test sub-board through the high-speed data interface.The communication connection between the control system and the host computer through the communication interface of the host computer is established as well.The design of the embedded Bluetooth communication module is completed.The upper computer establishes a wireless communication connection,which solves the problem of common interference caused by the connection between the computer and the test platform.The Bluetooth communication module establishes a communication with the control system through the serial peripheral interface and bus communication interface,and establishes communication with the host computer through the wireless protocol,and finally realizes wireless communication between the control system and the upper computer.Then,the paper completed the software design of the MSP430 control system,the main program design of the control system and the design of each communication interface protocol,including the communication protocol between the control system and the high-speed data processing system,the communication protocol between the control system and the host computer,and the communication transmission protocol between the control system and the Bluetooth communication module.The paper finally completes the functions of state control from the upper computer to the test platform,the high-speed data processing system running file download,the test sub-board initial configuration and the test data transmission.Finally,the design of the host computer communication interface in the control software of the data converter test platform is completed,so that it can work in coordination with the data converter test platform based on the MSP430 control system,issuing control commands to the test chip,retrieving test data,calculating and displaying the performance parameters.The paper uses an ADC with a sampling rate of 125 MHz and an accuracy of 16 bits as the test object,and carries out the actual test and verification of the performance of the data converter test platform based on MSP430 control system.The results show that the new system solves the weak interference problem of the original system in the high-precision data converter test,and the test result fully meets the design index.
