Compared with other LIDAR technology,the Array LIDAR technology can get a lot of information of target quickly and accurately,and generate three-dimensional images of objects.More and more attention has been paid to how to display more and more information in Array LIDAR images.With the development and popularization of programmable technology,programmable technology is applied more and more to the Array LIDAR system.It not only promotes the development of LIDAR technology,but also broadens the research and application fields of programmable technology.As a representative of programmable technology,Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)has provided new methods and ideas for the research of Array LIDAR image display because of its parallel operation,high speed operation and rich logical resources.The research task of this paper is to design and implement Array LIDAR image display system based on FPGA.In this paper,we first introduce the background of the Array LIDAR and the research status at home and abroad.Then we put forward the overall structure of the system,and divided the complex system into several modules which are simple and easy to implement,so as to facilitate system design.At the same time,the selection of related devices and the design of hardware circuit are also presented.Finally,the sub module is programmed and designed,functional verification is performed on professional simulation software and debugging on hardware platform.In this paper,Cyclone IV E series EP4C10F17C8 chip launched by Altera is used as the core device of the hardware platform.The system use SDRAM memory flash manufactured by American micron Corporation as the core components of the image signal storage.Image display is based on 800?480@60Hz TFT LCD screen display.The system is divided into data transmission module,SDRAM data storage module and TFT display module.In this paper,Verilog HDL language is used to program each module on the QuartusII software platform.In the process of completing the system design,we use the professional simulation software Modelsim to simulate the function of the sub module of the system.Instantiation is used to call sub modules and integrate into a complete system for verification.Finally,the image can be displayed on the 800?480@60Hz TFT LCD screen with stable structure and no loss of color,which meets the design requirements.This system can realize the functions of receiving data,storing data and displaying data.Because of the use of FPGA technology,every functional module designed and implemented can be transplanted and reused,and is conducive to system upgrading and later maintenance.The system has a certain reference value for LIDAR image display.
