Research On The Test And Diagnosis Method Of A Radar Receiver

As an indispensable weapon on the modern battlefield equipment,radar directly determines the accuracy of the weapon system to target searching,tracking and striking.However,the increasing complexity of radar requires higher requirements to the maintenance of the equipments.Nowadays,our radars meet long working periods,varieties,and different generations,where as current test and diagnostic methods of maintenance efficiency and quality are not high.Therefore,it is of great significance to improve the efficiency and quality of the maintenance of radar equipment.The main contents of paper include the following aspects:1.In order to solve the problem of low efficiency and quality in radar equipment maintenance,the research of the radar parameters such as noise figure,dynamic range,IQ channel orthogonality,bandwidth and improvement factor test system is proposed.2.Based on the analysis of radar receiver parameters and test principle,the technical requirements of testing and diagnosis are clarified.By comparing the noise figure,dynamic range,IQ channel orthogonality,receiver bandwidth and other parameters of a radar receiver Testing and data analysis to determine the performance of the receiver,the effectiveness of the test diagnostic method is verified.3.In order to solve the problem that the improvement factor index cannot be measured due to the lack of test equipment,designed to improve the factor test program,specify the technical requirements for the test required target generation equipment,clutter acquisition and playback equipment and MTI computing equipment,technical requirements,to complete the improvement factor test system software and hardware design based on the test program.4.According to the above test method of receiver parameters,combined with a variety of radar receiver maintenance practice in the process of debugging experience,we summed up in the whole machine maintenance debugging process to detect the receiver system indicators of the method.By testing a certain type of radar equipment,the validity of the receiver system fault detection and repair method is verified.
