For more than a decade,Image Stabilization(IS)technology has been considered essential to improve image quality.With the rapid development of miniature dual-camera technology,how to apply Optical Image Stabilization(OIS)to dual-camera technology has been a valuable research issue.During the process of dual-camera,it's difficult to make sure the two camera's optical axes are totally parallel,and it's hard to control lens because of magnetic interference of Voice Coil Motor(VCM).Combing the OIS with dual-camera technology is still an intractable problem.To solve these problems,we have designed a new miniature dual-camera and carried out the modeling and control simulation.The camera module's performance is tested experimentally.The main workings and innovations are as follows:(1)A new miniature dual-camera module is designed.The main two problems of dual-camera' OIS realization are the misalignment of the two optical axes and the magnetic interference.We design a new camera structure which can adjust the parallelism of two optical axes and minimize the magnetic interference in order to solve these problems.(2)Finite element analysis is used to optimize the key structural parameters of dual-camera module.The optimization of OIS and spring's parameters is conducted based on the FEA software COMSOL.The optimized camera module obtains maximum electromagnetic force in the limited volume.(3)The modeling and control simulation is carried out.The kinematic and electromagnetic equations are analyzed to obtain the required control model.The controller design and control simulation are conducted in Simulink using MATLAB.The simulation results show the OIS system can range in 0.1 degrees.(4)A dual-camera cooperative OIS control strategy based on image feedback is proposed.The main problem of dual camera cooperative control is that the initial optical axes are not parallel.The designed OIS camera module can adjust the initial optical axes.We propose a cooperative control strategy based on image feedback.(5)The real experiment is conducted to test the performance of OIS.We use 3D printing technology and electric spark cutting technology to manufacture the designed camera module.Real OIS control experiment is carried out to acquire image,and we evaluate the OIS performance based on discrete wavelet transform.
