As a kind of new inertial components, fiber optic gyro has a lot of advantage.Fiber ring is the core sensing element, and its quality decides precision of fiber optic gyro. Many of science researchers in universities are researching fiber ring from different field. So far we have got a lot of progress,but still behind of foreign. This paper, in view of the adhesive's parameter, the finite element analysis of fiber ring is preformed to optimize fiber ring's parameter, and raise the temperature features.The main researches are as follows:(1) The working principle of fiber optic gyro and two kinds of working way are introduced. Optical devices in fiber optic gyro is analysed, and fiber ring affected by temperature obviously. Optical fiber coil the main research object in this paper.(2) The dissertation establishes a mathematic model of fiber optic gyro's errors.The mathematic model has two sides: the error of temperature gradient and the error of thermal stress. Adhesive of optical fiber coil can produce thermal stress when the temperature changes, and the thermal stress will impact the refractive index of optical fiber and fiber optic gyro's errors.(3) The dissertation establishes the temperature field and stress field, analysis the impact between time-varying temperature field and time-varying stress field, and builds the simulation method of coupled fields.(4) The dissertation simulates coupled fields model of optical fiber coil with adhesive and with no adhesive, verifies the correctness of the theoretical analysis.Parameters of adhesive such as linear thermal expansion coefficient, modulus of elasticity, density, specific heat capacity and coefficient of thermal conductivity can impact the fiber optic gyro's errors. The dissertation simulates the optical fiber coil models with different parameter of adhesive. Contrast and find the best parameters.Keeping the parameters of adhesive and the length of fiber, simulate the optical fiber coil models with different structural parameters. Contrast and find the best structural parameters.
