In today's diversified development,people's understanding of the word "education" has changed,and the place of teaching has gone from the single classroom to the world.As one of the social education institutions,the museum inherits the ancient and modern times,displays the civilization,contains the rich resources,and shoulders the mission of helping and guiding people to establish the correct historical,cultural,and national views.At the same time,it has the characteristics of materiality,intuitiveness,autonomy,sociality,teaching through play and so on,in the process of children's growth highlights the unique value and significance.This study takes the educational activities for children aged 6-12 years in J Museum as the research object.Through qualitative research methods such as interview,observation and document collection,the case is analyzed.From the specific types of activities and the implementation of the activities to elaborate its education status,reveal the problems and influencing factors in the process of education,and put forward the corresponding countermeasures,for the future exploration museum children's education to provide useful inspiration.Firstly,the origin,purpose,problem and significance of the research are introduced,and the core concepts are defined.Then,from the vertical academic development context and horizontal activity implementation process,the literature review of children's education in museums at home and abroad was carried out,and the existing experience was learned,and the design of this study was proposed.Secondly,this study attempts to take the past three years as an example to completely present the current situation of children's educational activities in the J Museum.In terms of the types of activities,the two types of activities are summarized: "tour guide" and "cultural experience".In terms of implementation of activities,the characteristics,experience,and shortcomings of educational activities in terms of objectives,content,methods,and evaluation are summarized,and the influencing factors behind them are identified.Finally,in the conclusion part,in view of the problems existing in the educational activities of children in the museum,the Suggestions for optimization and the future prospects are put forward.
