Lichuan Investigation:A Case Study On The Construction Of County Level Media Center In Wuling Mountain Area

With the rapid development of Internet technology,the new media ecology has been formed,and the traditional mainstream media has suffered multiple impacts,such as audience loss,market contraction and technological backwardness.For the most basic county-level media in China's information communication system,it is imperative to improve their information communication ability and media operation level,so as to better promote regional economic and social development,and accelerate the modernization of grass-roots governance system and governance capacity.Media convergence is a major trend in the media field since the 21 st century,and it is also a necessary path for the development of media in China's county areas.In 2018,general secretary xi jinping asked at the national conference on publicity and ideological work,"we will make solid efforts to build a media center at the county level to better guide and serve the people." The construction of county-level media center has become a national strategy,bringing great opportunities for the development of grassroots media in China.In the face of the rapid iteration of media technology and the specific reality of different regions,there are different difficulties and shortcomings in the practice of the construction of county level media center at the grassroots level,and their own experiences and strategies have been formed.The development level of a region depends on the information dissemination capacity and media development degree of the region.Wuling mountain area not only has sample significance in the development of ethnic areas in the inland of China,but also has specimen value in the modernization of the grass-roots governance system in the poverty-stricken areas.This article choose lichuan city,located in the wuling mountain region as research samples,based on lichuan county media development in wuling mountain area of historical origin and the representative in the reality,through in-depth investigation,empirical research,system to explore lichuan county media reality confusion and feasible path of development,to the present development of media industry in the wuling mountain areas to provide reference and reference.The thesis is divided into four chapters.The introduction provides a framework for the thesis by sorting out the research significance,core concepts and literature review.The first chapter theoretically explains the construction of county-level media center from three aspects: background,significance and vision.The second chapter,based on lichuan city of enshi prefecture,investigates the status quo of the development of traditional media in order to build a diachronic background for the construction of the media center.The third chapter,as the core part of this paper,takes lichuan city rongzhong media center as a typical case through in-depth investigation to summarize its construction status and shortcomings,so as to provide a reference sample for the construction of county-level rongzhong media center in wuling mountain area.In chapter four,the research vision is raised from lichuan city to the whole wuling mountain area,and the construction strategy and development path of the media center in wuling mountain area in the new media era are proposed by combining the local thinking of the media development in wuling mountain area.
