Dicing saw is mainly used for precise scribing of IC and LED chip substrates.Now it has developed from the traditional semi-automatic single-spindle type to the fully automatic double-spindle type.Control software is the core of dicing saw's control system.It includes some key technologies,such as human-machine interface interaction,auto-focusing,auto-recognition,self-diagnosis,parameter management and design of dicing mode.There are many problems in the control software of domestic dicing saw,such as complex operation,few functions,poor compatibility,weak scalability and difficult modification.Therefore,this paper develop ed control software for the double-spindle dicing saw.The main contents are as follows.(1)The overall framework of dicing saw's control software was designed.With the idea of modularization,the hardware,function,interface and parameters were separated,and the control software was divided into hardware control module,function module,interface and data management module.Modularization of control software is not only conducive to the replacement of machine tool hardware,but also improves the expansibility and compatibility of software.It is also conducive to the efficiency of programming and testing,reduces the workload,and provides convenience for the expansion of subsequent functions.(2)This paper studied how to control the related hardware of the dicing machine.The control hardware includes motion control card,motion axis,spindle,solenoid valve and sensor.According to the technological requirements of the dicing saw,the program flow of each function was designed,including auto-focusing,autorecognizing and self-diagnosing alarm.Function modules are connected through the interface of hardware control module.Therefore,the model or type of hardware in machine tools can be changed at any time,just to ensure the interface of control module is consistent.(3)The man-machine interface,data structure and cut mode of the control software were designed.Interface design adheres to the principle of people-oriented,functional zoning and consistency.The parameters involved were classified into system parameters,model parameters,tool parameters and pre-cutting parameters,and stored in XML document format.The cutting methods include unidirectional cutting,bidirectional cutting and stepped cutting.(4)The function and performance of the software were tested and verified.Experiments show that the auto-focusing time is less than 5 seconds,and the image displayed after focusing is clear and sharp.After automatic recognition and cutting,the cutting depth,position and quality can meet the processing requirements.
