Expressions Of Consensus Discourse In Public WeChat Account People's Daily Commentary

In recent years,the frequent occurrence of hot issus,the appeals of public discourses and the ecology of media communication in China have undergone profound changes,which have posed new challenges to the guidance of public opinion and the construction of social consensus in China.Basing on the theories of social consensus,exampling the comments on recent hot issues in the public offficial wechat account of People's Daily Commentary as the research object,using the methods of literature reviewing and content analysis,this thesis analyzes the categories and strategies of consensus discourse which are shaped by the comments on hot issues in People's Daily Commentary,and put forward some suggestions to overcome its existing disadvantages after relevant analyses.After research,this thesis finds that People's Daily commentary pays much attention to publishing comments in combination with hot issus to guide public opinions and build social consensus,its consensus discourse mainly includes overlapping consensus,negotiating consensus and moral consensus.When shaping the above three kinds of consensus,People's Daily Commentary adopts different discourse strategies to guide public opinions,prevent social division,ease social conflicts and promote social harmony and stability.When shaping overlapping consensus,People's Daily Commentary mainly adopts the discourse strategy of combining the rules of law with common sense and regulating morality by law.When shaping the negotiating consensus,People's Daily Commentary mainly adopts the discourse strategy of pooling the views of different strata,widely absorbing public opinions and adhering to the bottom line of principles.When shaping the moral consensus,People's Daily Commentary mainly adopts the discourse strategy of integrating public morality with private morality,emphasizing individual social responsibility,and constraining individual behaviors by law.The consensus discourse expression of People's Daily Commentary needs to be improved due to the time lag,the lack of early guidance,follow-up and interactive feedback.For this reason,this thesis puts forward some suggestions to improve People's Daily Commentary's effectiveness of discourse expression,strengthen its effects in public opion guidance and follow-up and enrich its interactive feedback.
