Research On The Quality Improvement Of The Software Test Project Of The Information System In Bank A

With the liberalization of China's financial markets,the profit model of the banking industry has been changed subversively.The increasing competition urges the banks to develop new products,providing diversified products to meet the increasingly complex and diverse needs from their customers.In all these products,information system software is one indispensable part,which has to be developed,tested and deployed before the delivering the product to customers.In most new product developments,the development of this information system software suffers great pressure from a tight development schedule and constraint resources.How to handle these pressures and How to test and deliver high-quality product to the customer on time become the fundamental challenges in the banking industry.This paper first summarizes the theory of quality function development and the Systems Development Life Cycle(SDLC)of the information system software,and introduces the three-stage model of Quality Function Deployment(QFD).Then,typical test items for information system software are introduced based on a test project of the information system software from Bank A,in which the quality of the test is introduced as the evaluation metric.By using quantitative analysis method,the current situation of this test project is analyzed,and the possible improvements in the quality of the test are given by using a fishbone diagram in the whole development cycle.Finally,QFD approach is used to analyze the hierarchical needs of the customers.These needs are rearranged by the order of importance and are deployed with the three-stage model of QFD in different phases of the development.These include the demand to the design phase,the design to development phase,and the development to test phase,and the quality of the test is improved in all these phases.The effectiveness and feasibility of this method have been verified by adopting it in the second developing stage of the information system software,and the quality of the test is compared between these two developing stages.The result is promising,which makes it a good candidate and reference for other related projects.
