The Research Of Male Images On News Comments Of China Women's News(2010-2019)

This dissertation analyzes the male image in the news commentary of the China Women's News from 2010 to 2019.Among the 10764 news reviews,a total of 4734 articles related to the male image.The total number of male images is 6531,which has a variety of The characteristics of its diversity are reflected in many aspects such as the age,occupation,education and family roles of men.According to the content analysis and textual analysis methods,the statistic and qualitative analysis of the male image is made,and the sources of the comments,the topics involved,the male occupation,the roles in family,and the positive or negative behavioral trait are sorted out.The author also interviews some news commentators who work in CHINA WOMEN'S NEWS,and commented on the male image in terms of feminism,stereotypes,media responsibilities,and pseudo-environment.In General,the China Women's News did not make the male imageaphasia in the media because of its "female media" attribute,both positive and negative male images were presented in the comments;In the process of image,the news comments pay attention to the avoidance and elimination of gender stereotypes;at the same time,the news comments also paid attention to the vulnerable male groups.In the process of realizing the purpose of "promoting society to women ",the news commentary of "China Women's News" basically objectively and truly reproduced the male image,and plays an important role in the process of advocating equality between the sexes,for one thing the news commentary criticize the male hegemonic discourse,for another thing the news commentary avoid sexual relations turn to hostile.
