| A large number of reports on rural revitalization in China Women’s Daily have shaped the image of women in the new era,among whom are the promoters of rural revitalization strategy,the practitioners of rural revitalization work and the beneficiaries of rural revitalization policies.The existence and efforts of women are a driving force,a vitality,a cohesive force and a vitality for the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,and their role in the implementation and promotion of the rural revitalization strategy is irreplaceable and cannot be underestimated.In order to study the presentation of women’s image in China Women’s Daily in the context of rural revitalization,this study takes rural revitalization reports as the entry point,takes the report texts of China Women’s Daily during the period from 2017 when the rural revitalization strategy was proposed to 2022 when the 20 th Party Congress was held as the research sample,takes the women’s image in the rural revitalization reports of the newspaper as the research object,and from a macroscopic perspective,the number distribution,topics,types of reports The study found that the overall characteristics of women’s image and the strategies behind the construction of women’s image were studied through content analysis and case study.The study finds that women’s newspapers’ rural revitalization reports mainly portray the images of leaders,mainly female entrepreneurs and cadres,practitioners,mainly employed entrepreneurs and new farmers,who actively promote the rural revitalization strategy to the depths,and hardworking and prosperous workers,mainly women and volunteers,The image of the laborers who work hard and live and work.These images shaped with the premise of rural revitalization builders have their unique functional roles,and as a whole meet the requirements of the participants in each part of the rural revitalization cause.It is the centralized embodiment of socialist core values at the level of personal values.The presentation of such images of women helps to clarify women’s extensive participation in rural revitalization work,recognize women’s outstanding contributions in it,and awaken women’s gender self-awareness to participate more in social construction.As a sample slice to observe the social history process,the microscopic image presentation under macro issues can provide more specific ways of understanding and more detailed footnotes for the development of the times,social progress and policy promotion.By strengthening the details of each part,the women’s newspaper’s rural revitalization report reflects the prosperous scene of the steady progress of rural revitalization work in the process of image building.The image of women presented therein cannot be evaluated in terms of thinness or fullness,singularity or diversity,but should be viewed in the context of the whole era,social background and policy background in terms of its value and significance.On the whole,the advanced concepts,sincere emotions and simple language of women’s newspaper’s rural revitalization reports have played a positive role in shaping several types of female images,bringing a vivid and dynamic image to the paper and providing the public with a window of understanding of women’s contribution in the cause of rural revitalization.The fact that the female images in the report show certain one-sided characteristics is not a shortcoming of the report,but a functional expression of the image,as the theme of the report filters the images of the characters in the report.In the face of the flaws in the reports,readers should rationally discern,make organic judgments and selectively accept and absorb the gender culture and gender consciousness in the reports.Newspapers themselves should also improve their style of writing in practice to tell the story of rural revitalization and the story of women. |
