In the integrated manufacturing process of complex electronic equipment,the cable assembly is a crucial link,with high technological requirements,long time consuming and complex installation conditions.The assembly quality and efficiency of the cable directly affect the quality and production cycle of complex electronic equipment.With the rapid development of computer technology,the application of Mixed Reality technology to the assembly process of complex electronic equipment has aroused the interest and attention of scientific researchers.The use of mixed reality technology can effectively reduce the cognitive burden of assembly operators and realize the effect of cost reduction and efficiency increase.However,the existing mixed reality cable assembly guidance system has the defect of poor universality,which needs to be customized for different products,and the existing tracking registration algorithm is not robust in the mechanical assembly scene where the surface lacks texture features.Aiming at the above defects,this thesis studies and designs a mixed reality system for cable assembly guidance of complex electronic equipment.Firstly,a mixed reality system architecture based on cloud architecture is proposed.Then,the process information model construction and structural characterization method for complex electronic equipment are proposed,and the system tracking registration algorithm based on improved ORB-SLAM is designed.The main work of this thesis includes the following aspects:1.Built a mixed reality system framework for complex electronic equipment cable assembly guidance.This thesis studies the deficiency of traditional cable assembly and virtual reality cable assembly,the module requirements of hybrid reality cable assembly guidance system,and sorts out the working process of the system.2.Studied the process information model involved in the framework of mixed reality system,and designed the process information structural model and process information transfer framework based on XML technology.In order to solve the problem that the process information of the system is not universal,the process information model is divided into six parts,such as basic model and MR multimedia model.The content of raw data preparation and data transformation in the basic model are discussed in detail and the concrete construction method is given.Finally,an application example of the model is given.3.Designed the tracking registration algorithm involved in the framework of mixed reality system.Aiming at the instability of the system caused by the lack of texture features in the assembly environment,an improved tracking registration algorithm was designed in this thesis.Based on ORB-SLAM2,the identification code was used for initialization,and the SURF-ORB and GMS-RANSAC algorithm were fused to complete feature point extraction and mismatching removal.Through the experimental results show that the improved algorithm in this thesis,the matching accuracy is better than the original algorithm,dimension change regulation,etc.4.Built a mixed reality system for complex electronic equipment cable assembly guidance,tested the process information model and tracking registration method proposed in this thesis,investigated and analyzed the user experience,and verified the reliability of the system.According to the experiment,the mixed reality system for complex electronic equipment is feasible and practical.
