As the number of elderly population rises in China,it is becoming a trend that the elderly travel alone.In addition,with the expansion of the coverage of high-speed rail lines and their efficiency and convenience,the proportion of the elderly who choose to travel by high-speed rail is also increasing.At present,there are various kinds of travel service applications in the domestic market,but few of them take the elderly passengers as their core users.Considering the social development and humanization in design,this thesis carries out its design analysis centering on the elderly users traveling alone.The design in this thesis is based on the investigation of various travel service products on the domestic market and the research on the senior' behavior habits as well as user experience theories.Through the methods of questionnaire survey,user interview,drawing user portrait and field survey,the research is divided into six parts as follows.First of all,the background statistics was collected with data on the proportion of mobile Internet users and the age distribution of population in social development.With the factual support,the direction and overall framework of the research is formulated.Secondly,with the social context clarified,the applied theory is clarified from the perspective of user experience,supported by product design elements,five elements of user experience and analysis of the behavior of the senior.Thirdly,with the theory of user experience in mind,the theoretical background of the design is further supplemented from other perspectives by analyzing the causes of cognitive friction in product design,emotional design in the interface and the gestalt principles.The target group portrait is then developed in combination with the research on the competitive products.Fourth,the visual design specifications of the product are formulated,and the visuals of the product are further clarified by extracting key words and using mood board.Fifth,the core functions of the product are refined through theoretical studies and actual product research results.The corresponding process designs and the interface effects are improved,with the flow chart and the effect diagram to demonstrate the design works.Last but not the least,through review and reflection on innovation and problems in the designing process,the outlook and possible improvement for the research area is critically thought through.Based on user experience,this thesis focuses on the daily travel scenario of high-speed rail,and discusses the possible problems of senior users' independent rail travel.The product design in this design not only accounts in the features of the product and its relationship with users,but also improves its logic and structure from the perspective of interaction.The product interface is optimized as well from the perspective of visual design,further enriching the core semantics to make the high-speed rail service product helpful to senior users.
