With the maturity of mobile Internet technology and the rapid decline of the smartphone market, the mobile ticket purchase boom continues to climb.Under the influence of “Internet +”and “Experience Economy”,the travel concept of users has changed from solving the travel problem by owning a means of transportation to consuming as a service. In the service-oriented travel scenario, users will pay more attention to the user experience in the ticket purchase process, for travel service personalized increasingly obvious demand. Therefore, how to improve the user experience when buying tickets to meet the user for travel service personalized needs, how to provide users with a better one-stop travel service based on the railway scenario is the problem to be considered and solved. This thesis comes from the design project that the author participated in in the intelligent transportation product design group of Beijing Sankuai Technology Co.,Ltd.(Meituan).The specific content of the project is the revision of the mainstream process of train ticket purchase, which is an important step in the transformation of mechanical fire products from a single ticket purchase tool platform to a one-stop travel service platform. In this thesis, the design principles and design process are derived from the mental model as the theoretical basis and design guidance in the following project research. Then, the competitive product analysis and user research of the existing version of the product are carried out to explore the pain points and needs of users in the process of purchasing tickets, and integrate them into specific design function points and design goals. Then, using the design principles based on mental model, and on the basis of deep understanding and skilled use of mental model theory, the design strategy is formulated, and then the interaction design scheme of the complete process is output. Finally, cooperating with the visual designer to complete the final visual solution and docking to the development engineer to enter the development and usability testing stage. The achievements and innovations of this thesis are as follows:(1)As a tool platform with ticket purchasing as its core function, based on the railway travel scenario, the coverage ability of travel service scenario is strengthened to realize the important transformation to the integrated travel service platform.(2)This thesis introduces and uses the mental model, and uses the four links in the process of mental generation and iteration, which are “attraction, understanding, motivation and feedback”,to derive the four nodes of the general design principles, which are“attracting attention, efficient understanding, smooth operation and reasonable feedback”,so as to guide the design of one-stop travel service platform.(3)GSM quantitative method is introduced to make specific indicators for each link based on the design objective, which is convenient for monitoring and optimizing the user experience.(4)The core value of user-centered user experience will run through the project from beginning to end, through the in-depth understanding and definition of the design goal, the in-depth understanding and insight of the target user, and combined with mental model, the following interaction design strategies are used, including matching the user mental model to improve operational efficiency, handling error information properly to improve operational efficiency, strengthening the ability of one-stop travel scene coverage.(5)Through the study of mental model theory,by analyzing the relationship between the macro and micro levels of mental models and the five elements of user experience,a design process based on the five elements of user experience is developed,to make the design process more rigorous.
