With the continuous development of the digital economy, the scale of the digital industry continues to expand, and digitization has become increasingly involved in daily life. The programmer community,as a core part of digital workers that is often overlooked,is also the foundation of the digital economy. The work it does is increasingly regarded as having basic value today. In this Against “996 Working System”,the programmer group used technical means to confront the more socially influential enterprises(entrepreneur)and adopted a mode of mobilization of oppositional identification to bring the interests of entrepreneurs and workers.Conflicts and oppositions strengthen one 's own identity, which goes beyond traditional professional norms and is more inclined to cultural identity and collective mobilization through technical means. In the media discourse analysis of the “opposition to the 996 work system”,the author found that the traditional media put more emphasis on the legal order, and the new media called for respect for individual freedom.Git Hub is both an online workplace for programmers and a public domain where it participates in online discussions.Through project management, programmers convert open source production methods into collective action paths.Unlike traditional worker actions, programmers did not choose to use the power of trade unions, but spontaneously used technical means to counter, and derived a set of their own modes of resistance. This model of struggle gradually evolved from specific demands to facilitate the transformation of ideas. This research will help to better understand the working essence of digital workers represented by programmers, and also provide a theoretical basis for further overtime intervention research.
