Multimodal Discourse Analysis Of Mainstream Media Anti-epidemic Cartoons From The Perspective Of Restorative Narrative ——A Case Study Of People's Daily

The outbreak of the COVID-19,Wuhan "closed city",the National People's isolation at home,the virus silent attacks on life makes the social mood of the obvious negative trend,the epidemic has become a great impact on the whole nation's traumatic events.However,in 2021,COVID-19 tended to normalize.How to achieve social stability and develop towards a positive direction has always been a major goal of the mainstream media in its efforts to carry out practice.While presenting the sad reality brought by the epidemic,the mainstream media should also pay attention to the repair of the people's traumatic psychology and realize the benign interaction with the society.Therefore,this paper hopes to study from the two aspects of macro social meaning construction and micro cognitive construction,more comprehensively analyze the general law of multimodal discourse in anti-epidemic comics,and play a role in the meaning construction of social emotion repair.On the basis of establishing the research questions and research objects,taking the anti-epidemic comics published and reproduced in the microblog of People's Daily as the research corpus,adopting the research method of combining quantitative research and qualitative research,and based on the perspective of multimodal discourse theory,visual grammatical framework theory and multimodal metaphor theory,this paper discusses the reproduction significance of anti-epidemic comics at the macro level The dynamic construction process of Interactive Meaning and composition meaning,as well as the cognitive construction of individuals and social groups by the multimodal metaphor used in anti-epidemic comics at the micro level.In the first chapter,the author gives an operational definition of the concept of quantitative operation.In the second chapter,the author makes a detailed analysis of the visual grammatical framework of anti-epidemic comics by means of quantitative research.In the third chapter,the author makes a micro study of the multimodal metaphor of anti-epidemic comics in the cognitive construction of individuals and social groups.The fourth chapter is based on the analysis of the first three chapters,The author summarizes how the mainstream media can copy the social reality and reconstruct the psychological reality through anti epidemic comics,so as to repair the social emotion and realize the benign interaction with the society.The results are as follows:First,the creators of anti-epidemic comics are building equal social relations in the sense of reproduction,interaction and composition,so as to establish a foundation for equal dialogue with image viewers,and then promote the subsequent benign social interaction.Second,in order to realize the multi-modal metaphor interaction with readers,anti-epidemic comics should first be based on the common cultural context.Secondly,anti-epidemic comics realize the readers' panoramic cognition of the epidemic situation through multiple modal metaphors.At the same time,the multi-modal metaphor of anti-epidemic comics has the characteristics of narrative,dynamic and regular presentation of graphic and graphic relations.Thirdly,when constructing the meaning of the multimodal discourse of the anti-epidemic cartoon,it establishes an equal and harmonious interactive relationship with the reader from the visual grammar.Secondly,it realizes the common emotional foundation by constructing the multimodal metaphor.Finally,the reader is influenced by the national ideology conveyed by the antiepidemic cartoon,mobilizes his own enthusiasm and realizes the benign interaction with the society.
