3D printing technology based on fused deposition manufacturing(FDM)has the advantages of convenient maintenance,saving material,short forming time,low cost of operation and maintenance,high utilization of materials,no pollution and small volume of equipment.It has been widely used in the field of 3D printing.In recent years,it has become the one of the most popular research and development topics in manufacturing industry.At present,there are only one or two nozzles for FDM 3D printers.For double sprinklers,it is generally the main and the auxiliary structure,the main nozzle printing model outline,and the auxiliary printing supports.In general,the auxiliary support should be eliminated at last.Therefore,even a double nozzle can only print a single color model.This article is mainly to study the above problems.The article is focused on three nozzle FDM 3D printer to achieve three color model printing.First of all,on the basic of the non-interference of multi group nozzle,the silk material in each group of wire feeding system not being entangled with each other,and the structure stability of the equipment in the process of wire feeding,the scheme of three groups of nozzle frames parallel with each other is proposed,and the key motion system and components are designed,calculated and selected.Using Solid Works software,a virtual prototype is built.The key technology of the multi nozzle FDM 3D printer is studied.For the preheating time of the multiple nozzles,it is put forward to set time buffer zone to control the nozzle,and the control strategy of the preheating time of the nozzle group is determined by modeling.In view of the problem of error in the process of nozzle switch,a solution which combines the position sensor with the assembly adjustment in the key position is put forward,and the control strategy of multi axis linkage is determined to ensure that the multiple groups of nozzles do not interfere with each other in the working process of the equipment.The multi nozzles FDM 3D printer process is designed and the multiple color model contour lines forming process is studied.The virtual simulation of the printing process is carried out by using the Solid Works software.It is proved that the structure design and control strategy are reasonable and feasible.
