Since 3D print technology come out,3D printer has gradually become advance product in 3D technology area and mainstream machining technology. The development of 3D printer not only turn into a new creature technic but also bring a wave of manufacturing revolution in worldwide,3D printer not merely change the production mode over the years, it also come into our daily life. As an high-tech equipment,3D printer utilizes the technologies in many areas such as CAD, CAM, laser optics, photochemistry,material science and many other subjects and technic. It makes its user who is professional in normal design, industry design, architect design and medical product design build up entity models more convenient and also simplify the process of later design. At present,3D printer has much space to development, at the same time, it faces many challenges and difficulty, especially in equipments’ cost, material for printing, accuracy, speed and efficiency, it needs deeply research.Due to the disadvantages in normal 3D printer such as low efficiency, low accuracy and high cost in material, deeply analyzing the working mechanism of 3D printer, design new fused deposition modeling (FDM) 3D printer, put forward three nozzles extrusion, improve the disadvantages of FDM 3D printer. According to the different function, divided 3D printer into many parts design new extrusions, analyzed extrusion mechanism, wire feed device, servo system and temperature control system, made simulation analysis about core structure. Design and assemble FDM 3D printer, which offer model for simulation and modification; made design of the core mechanism(extrusion mechanism), studied three nozzles extrusion, sliding vane pump extrusion and plunger pump extrusion; analyzed stiffness and strength of 3D printer’s bearing parts, Verified the reliability of the mechanical structure; made fluid simulation of extrusion mechanism, simulated actual situation of extrusion mechanism internal fluid, the feasibility of three nozzles extrusion is validated; the control process of 3D printer is studied, analyzed the collaboration process of extrusion mechanism, wire feeding mechanism and servo, to ensure the stability of 3D printer when it is working.Through the study and design of FDM 3D printer, improve its printing accuracy and speed, and other problems like wire broken, overflow, highly cost of the machine. Tested the FDM 3D printer print by printing sample piece, verified the designed machine achieved the goal and it offered the identity for the development of 3D printer with proprietary intellectual property rights, high efficiency and high accuracy and work speed.
