The vast ocean where humans are sinking images can't help themselves.No matter where people are,as a "universal crowd" of visual communication terminals,the eyes can't escape the dazzling visual elements,and tirelessly cling to the visual revelation brought by virtual technology,when the image blocked the effective way for people to obtain information,people realized that the image symbol's encroachment on the text has already become a historical narrative of the spread of visual culture.In the context of the update of Internet technology and the prevalence of virtual culture,people's demand for images is increasingly high,and they try to use image thinking to understand things and understand the mysteries of the world.The rich and diverse image forms have become the carrier of cultural communication,building a visual fence,blocking the rational logic of words.In the cyberspace,people have set off a pan-entertainment frenzy and staged a group of visual feast under the guidance of perceptual logic of images.At present,there is a wave of VLOG in China,which is the video blog,which has attracted widespread attention from netizens.Under the evolution from the traditional handwritten diary text,to the network diary graphic text to the network video diary video text,there is a battle and fighting-dynamic images challenge the centuries-old transmission carrier of text,forcing us to relate the birth of VLOG to visual culture.Therefore,the article will cut in from the perspective of visual culture and explore the impact of the shift of visual culture on public aesthetics in the new media environment.And through the analysis of the characteristics of VLOG transmission and the motivation for use,study the change of diary text under the change of visual culture and the differences in user self-expression,and sort out the hidden visual aesthetics and crisis under this phenomenon.Based on the review of the research status of visual culture and the development status of VLOG,it is found that few scholars in China currently have placed VLOG in the perspective of diary development,so the research in this paper is innovative.First,based on the understanding of the connotation and development background of visual culture,this paper mainly analyzes the evolution of visual paradigm in the historical narrative and the characteristics of visual culture presented in the new media environment.The deconstruction of the ideographic function of words in the era of visual culture and the superficialization,popularization,and spectacle of daily aesthetics will contribute to the promotion of subsequent chapters.Secondly,it focuses on the current development status of VLOG.Through the analysis of the motivation of both disseminators and recipients to use VLOG,it was found that emotional appeal and inner belonging and the identity brought by the circle are the important reasons for users to use VLOG.Finally,by investigating VLOG in the long history of diary development,it was found that the rational narrative of the diary text was broken,and the user's ability of deeply thinking was impacted.At the same time,the privacy of the diary was dispelled,and the self-spiritual dialogue of the diary owner was broken.The essence of the diary has also evolved from a self-service tool to a means of self-presentation.On the contrary,from the perspective of dialectic,the diary has also been reborn under the "video turn" of visual culture.It has rebuilt the spatial significance of the absence of dialogue,It also enhances the audience's aesthetic level and activates the audience's more advanced aesthetic needs under the media environment of short vulgarity and homogenization in the new media era.
