Research On Authenticity Risk Of Digital Preservation

In the era of big data,digital information resources have become the mainstream of social information resources.However,due to the fragility of digital resources,more and more digital resources are losing their value because they are not effectively preserved.Therefore,how to effectively preserve digital resources for a long time has become a major problem faced by preservation organizations.The long-term preservation of digital resources is a process full of risks.The effective long-term preservation of digital resources is to ensure the continuous availability of digital resources in the long-term preservation process.That is,to ensure the availability,identification,continuous integrity,present-ability,understand-ability and authenticity of digital resources in the long-term preservation process.Therefore,when the save system fails to fulfill the above core responsibilities,there is a corresponding digital preservation risk.This research only focuses on the authenticity risk of digital preservation.By analyzing the possible factors of authenticity risk in the long-term preservation of digital objects,construct an authenticity risk meta-data scheme for digital preservation.Based on the scheme,authenticity risk detection points and corresponding risk detection items were designed,and a preservation system example(CNKI)was selected for authenticity risk detection to understand the distribution of authenticity risk in the preservation system.Through the authenticity risk detection,it is found that the digital objects of the preservation system have a high frequency of risks at the three detection points of signature information,information summary and historical information modification.The purpose is to improve the preservation quality of digital resources,reduce the losses caused by digital preservation risks,and realize the healthy and sustainable development of digital preservation industry.
