With the steady progress of the Belt and Road Initiative in China,the corridors in eastern,central and western China for container freight passage are exploited thoroughly,and the throughput of coastal container terminals has been increasing,multimodal transport as an advanced,green and efficient form of transport ushered in a new round of high-speed development.However,the lack of scientific and reasonable transport planning and management is still one of the main factors restricting the efficiency of multimodal transport in China.This paper is based on the multimodal transport network system with fixed timetable of container liner or train as a foothold,and studies the multimodal transport route selection and the shift decision-making optimization problem of the liner or train.This paper first studies the domestic and international related literature of multimodal transport.Secondly,the basic theory of multimodal transport is summarized.Next,the paper analyzes the operation mode of the next train of multimodal transport.Considering the actual operation of the liner or train,the optimization problem of the route of multimodal transport can be decomposed into two progressive problems.The general model of multimodal transport route optimization and the multimodal transport route optimization model considering the liner or train connection are constructed respectively.Then,based on the high-dimension combination optimization problem in the paper,a hybrid heuristic algorithm based on the variable neighborhood search algorithm and genetic algorithm is designed.The variable domain search algorithm is applied to the generation of the initial solution of the genetic algorithm and the chromosomal mutation to improve the synthesis of the algorithm performance.Finally,the multimodal transport network around Bohai Sea region is selected as the background to design numerical examples,and the comparison experiments of several algorithms are carried out to verify the high efficiency and practicability of the proposed model and optimization algorithm.At the same time,it provides reliable scientific reference for multimodal transportation enterprises in formulating the transportation plan of multimodal transportation.
