With the promotion and construction of the national strategy--"The Belt and Road",China-Singapore logistics channel plays an increasingly obvious role in connecting the "the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road".Container multi-modal transport is the main transportation form of China-Singapore trade, and the optimization of multimodal transport route is a hot topic in the research field of multimodal transport. However, the multimodal transport path optimization process is the tradeoff process of different participants. As different goods have different characteristics, different participants in the transportation activities have different requirements for container multi-modal transport. With the "green logistics" gradually deepening into people's life, the carbon emission in the transportation process has also attracted more and more attention from government departments. Therefore, unlike traditional research on the optimization of multimodal transportation path, firstly, this paper is intended to study managers, participants, and cousumers of the multimodal transport. Then, the paper builds an optimization model of multimodal transport path that comprehensively considerates four objective functions of taansport expense, time cost, carbon emission cost and risk cost. Moreover, the preference differences of different participants are considered in the model solution. In this way,we can solve the problems that different participants have different requirements and emphases on different multi-modal transport schemes, making the solution of multi-objective optimization problems morereasonable. The main work of this paper includes the following aspects:Firstly, through the search of domestic and foreign container multimodal transport related literature, this paper summarizes the general research direction of container multimodal transport in China and foreign countries, and analyzes the existing research results, pointing out the current problems. And then this paper determines the research direction and focus of this paper.Secondly, this paper introduces some knowledge related to container multimodal transport channels, and analyzes the current network structure and development deficiencies of China-Singapore logistics channels. Also, this paper try to explore the future channel construction, and infer all possible operation routes of ChinaSingapore logistics channels in 2025.Thirdly,this paper defines the connotation of multimodal transport in multidimensional perspective, and sums up the four main factors(transport expense, time cost, carbon cost and risk cost)influencing the multimodal transport path optimization from the multi-dimensional perspective. Then we establish the optimization model considering four factors. And by using non dominated sorting genetic algorithm with elitist strategy(NSGA-? algorithm)to solve the model. In the end, this paper applies the optimization model to the China-Singapore connectivity trade. We select Chongqing and Singapore as the starting points and use Matlab software programming to solve. The optimal routes satisfying the different preferences of different participants are obtained respectively from the perspectives of different participants. It is shown that the model is feasible and effective, and can provide a highly directive optimization scheme for the optimization of the multi-modal container transportation path.
