With the promotion of urban landscape construction and urban digital construction,timely access to shared information through the display screen has become an indispensable part of people's lives.LED display plays an important role in the display market with its high luminous efficiency,bright color and low power consumption,which brings new vitality to the construction of smart city.LED smart glass display has obvious advantages in the use of outdoor environment.It has good transparency and comfortable viewing.Because it is widely used in outdoor large-scale display occasions,it requires high stability and real-time performance of the system.Based on LED display technology,high-speed transmission technology and the design of embedded system,this paper designs an LED smart glass embedded control system.And the system included host computer,controller,driver and the LED smart glass display.Firstly the upper computer software played the corresponding resolution video and provides mapping coordinates.Controller was divided into Microcontroller Unit(MCU)and Secondary Control Unit(SCU).The MCU received the upper computer video data signal through the DVI interface and received the mapping information through the USB port.A dual-core embedded system,based on Xilinx FPGA and STM32 ARM,as the core of the controller to process data.And the ARM was managed by the ?C/OS-? operating system.Then data was transmitted through fiber opties rapidly to the SCU,which using Xilinx FPGA as the central processor.After the SCU converted the received data into signals which compliant with drive characteristics,and transferred signals from the network cable to the drive.Further,SCU can transfer more data in real time through cascading,and it has the advantage of saving resources.Finally,the drive was connected by an FPC boards on both ends of the display and then drives the display of the LED smart glass display.The system controller was divided into DVI processing unit,mapping processing unit,video processing unit,Optical fiber transmission unit and data conversion unit,they completed the transmission of the video data of the upper computer and the mapping,and finally realized the real-time and full-color display of the upper computer video on the LED smart glass display.This paper introduces the LED display technology,fiber optic transmission technology and use of real-time embedded operating systems.And the LED smart glass embedded control system is designed by hardware design,ARM software programming and FPGA programming.This paper firstly designs the solution according to the project requirements,and then completes the target design through PCB design,simulation and online debugging of each functional module.The feasibility and correctness of the design were verified.
