In recent years,with the rapid development of wireless communication technology,people's demand for communication quality becomes higher and higher.However,there is always noise in the communication process to interfere with the information in the transmission,and the effectiveness and reliability of communication has become the focus of scholars.In order to study the performance of Turbo codes,a large number of verification experiments are required under different parameters and different standards.This requires the Turbo codec to have a very strong versatility,which is also the original intention of studying Turbo code.This paper focuses on the above problems.On this basis,the engineering implementation of Turbo coder and decoder is carried out,It mainly includes the following research contents.Firstly,this paper introduces the development history and significance of channel coding,and gives the development of Turbo code and the status quo of research.The coding and decoding structure of Turbo code is analyzed,including component encoder,interleaver,deletor,component decoder and so on.A scheme based on CRC check is designed and proposed to control the number of iterations of Turbo decoding to a certain extent,under the premise of ensuring reliability and validity,the complexity of decoding algorithm is greatly reduced and the decoding performance is improved.Secondly,the factors affecting Turbo decoding performance are simulated by using MATLAB,including the difference between coding and uncoding under different algorithms,interleaving depth,interleaver,coding rate,iteration number,etc.The simulation results show that Log-MAP algorithm has better decoding performance than SOVA algorithm,as the interleaving depth increases,the coding rate decreases,and the number of iterations increases,the error performance will be correspondingly improved,and the complexity of the algorithm will also increase.Based on the simulation data,the system architecture design and research of the baseband signal processing process in the communication system is carried out.Analyze the various modules on the communication link and perform hardware design and implementation.Finally,the depth Research and Implementation of Turbo Codec Based on FPGA.Firstly,each module of Turbo code is designed and coded in Verilog language,The hardware simulation of each design module by Modelsim not only improves the validity and reliability of the communication system,but also greatly saves the resources of the system.It has a long-term guiding significance for the future research of channel coding in the institute.This project is part of the National Natural Science Foundation of China(61501078),(61601078),(61231006)and so on,it mainly studies the research and implementation of Turbo code modulation and demodulation based on cognitive radio.
