A Study On The Communication Mechanism And Discourse Space In The Social Q&A Community

The social Q&A community is a new type of online community that has emerged in recent years.It combines the characteristics of the traditional Q&A website and the social software.The platform also satisfies the interaction needs of users while producing and disseminating information.This new type of online community presents new characteristics of communication,and it constructs a discourse space that has unique characteristics.Zhihu is a representative of the social Q&A community that has emerged in recent years.This study will take Zhihu as an example,and analyzes the communication mechanism and discourse space of Zhihu.This study will focus on the relationship between its communication mechanism and discourse space.The specific research questions in this paper are: What are the constituent elements of the relevant communication? What types of the communication modes? What are the characteristics of the discourse space? What is the relationship and structure of discourse power within the discourse space? What are the characteristics of the discourse space under the influence of the communication mechanism? What are the characteristics of the communication mechanism in the discourse space?The study founds that the identity of the participants is not obvious,and they are anonymous and grassroots.The influence of the participants shows the characteristics of the hierarchy,and there are opinion leaders on the platform among the constituent elements of the communication.The user's activity in the community is quite different.The content of the dissemination is original,co-creative,interdisciplinary and diverse.The transmission way of Zhihu is mainly in the form of words.There is a more complete information feedback mechanism.There are three types of propagation modes in the community: one-way propagation mode,two-way propagation mode,and weak two-way propagation mode.The characteristics of the discourse space are diversified discourse subjects,flowing discourse powers,and multi-character discourse fields.Discourse power relations and structure show the confrontation between discourse power,the pyramidal discourse power structure and the reduced public discourse space.Based on the above findings,under the influence of the mechanism of communication,the discourse space presents the game of the right of discourse between users and the competition of the ability of discourse communication.It also presents the reconstruction of the public discourse space.In the context of the discourse,the interaction of users in the communication isinfluenced by internal motivation and externality.The user plays the role of questioner,answerer and information giver in the interaction behavior.There are limitations in the interaction behavior of users.The content of this study contains five parts: The first part is the introduction of this study.It presents the origin of the research,and it contains the research background and the research significance.It also presents the present research situation of academic circles,and it points out the research questions.It also defines the important concepts involved in the paper,and expounds the research methods used in this paper.The second part introduces the produce and development of Zhihu.It specifys the composition of the plate and the form of information dissemination on the platform.The third part studies the communication mechanism based on the quantitative data,including the relevant communication components and the communication mode.The fourth part discusses the discourse space of Zhihu,and analyzes the characteristics of the discourse space and the discourse power relations and structure.The fifth part focuses on the relationship between the communication mechanism and the discourse space.
