Relationships between China and Vietnam have a history of more than two thousand years,and China-Vietnam relations are highly appreciated at any time.In recent years,the economy of China and Vietnam has developed rapidly,and the relationship between the two countries has become more stable.The comprehensive cooperation and mutual assistance between the two countries is not only reflected in the political,military,economic and other great powers,but also in social culture and others of soft power.Both governments are committed to promoting the establishment of good relations,aiming at the 16 golden words "good-neighborly friendship,comprehensive cooperation,long-term stability and future-oriented" and the four good principles of "good neighbors,good friends,good comrades and good partners".In the 21 st century,the Vietnamese government has regarded China as a strategic partner and developed a comprehensive cooperation relationship with it.The two countries have held exchanges and official visits for many times.With the development and progress of Internet technology,the rapid development of transnational media,the role of international communication is becoming more and more obvious,and Vietnamese media's news coverage of the exchanges between China and Vietnam is also increasing.Mass media shapes the whole media space,constructs people's imagination about the country by reporting the information of a country,guides public opinion,and shapes people's cognition and attitudes toward the country.It can be said that with the popularity of the Internet,news websites play an increasingly important role in shaping the national knowledge.Therefore,the study of Vietnamese media is of great significance to exploring Vietnam's understanding and views on China.This paper takes the Chinese-related news reports of Vietnam Plus E-Newspaper from 2013 to 2018 as the research object,uses content analysis and case analysis,and selects its international,political and friendship bridge editions for quantitative analysis,aiming to find out and summarize the characteristics and development changes of these news reports.Based on the above analyses,this study explores what kind of Chinese knowledge it has constructed as well as how it has presented China's national knowledge,and it also puts forward some relevant suggestions.This paper is mainly divided into three chapters.The first chapter summarizes and analyses the overall situation of China-related news reports in Vietnam Plus ENewspaper from the aspects of news reporting frequency,reporting topics,reporting subjects,information sources,emotional attitudes and so on.The second chapter is to analyze the characteristics of these issues,including political,military,economic,social,scientific and technological aspects.The last chapter explores the national knowledge of China constructed by Vietnam Plus E-Newspaper through discourse analysis,discusses the cognitive characteristics of Vietnam Plus ENewspaper towards China,and puts forward relevant suggestions for Vietnam Plus ENewspaper.The study finds that Vietnam Plus E-Newspaper reports on China frequently.It mainly deals with news reports on China with a kind of objective,neutral,positive and friendly attitude.It generally creates a friendly image of China from the perspective of politics and diplomacy,but it also has presented some negative images of political corruption and environmental pollution.Generally speaking,Vietnam Plus E-Newspaper reports on China are more objective and fair.In future reports,the media should maintain this objective attitude,enrich the news reports on China,improve Vietnamese people's comprehensive understanding of China,and adopt a constructive attitude to report on relevant disputes,so as to promote friendly relations and joint development between China and Vietnam.
