With the rapid development of economic globalization and technological innovation,the world economy has entered the era of global value chain.Artificial Intelligence and 5G Technology will lead to the arrival of the 4th industrial revolution.Countries have released policies for vigorous development of technological innovation and upgrading of manufacturing industry.The traditional manufacturing mode based on manpower will be gradually upgraded to a modern manufacturing mode guided by advanced technology through the development of new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence,Internet of Things and big data.As a member of the manufacturing industry,Company X needs to follow the direction of the times,be alert to changes in the market environment,and catch up the opportunities brought about by innovation and technology reform.Therefore,it is necessary to study and analyze the business strategy.Company X is a leading provider of product design,manufacturing,supply chian solution,logistics and aftermarket services to“High mixed,Low volume”electronics brands.In recent years,with the rising cost of China's labor,the escalation of Sino-US trade friction,coupled with frequent fluctuations in component market prices and lead time,the business growth of Company X has been impacted.X companies need to research the development strategy and optimize business models to match with future development situation.This thesis first introduces the current operation status,development vision and business goals of Company X,Based on the combination of consulting data and practical work experience,using PEST Analysis method and Michael Porter's Five Forces Model to comprehensively analyze the macro-environment and industry competitive environment regarding electronics manufacturing service industry,then using resource-based view to analyze the internal resource capability of Company X.Four different strategy plans are proposed through SWOT matrix analysis.Based on the company's development vision,business goals and drawing lessons from the development strategy of the main competitors,it's concluded that the most suitable development strategy for the future development of Company X is the differentiate and concentrate development strategy.Finally,this thesis proposes the implementation of safeguard measures for strategy.The research results of this thesis are mainly aimed at the development strategy of differentiated services proposed by EMS companies Focus on the unique market of building“High mixed,low volume”and high complexity products:“high-end diversification,customer localization,manufacturing intelligence."It can not only provide guidance and suggestions for Company X's development strategy,but also provide reference for the upgrading and transformation of other domestic electronics manufacturing service companies.
